Day 1: Arrival Colombo. Half day city tour
Check into the hotel and enjoy a tour of Colombo city post lunch. Numerous sights like Galle Face Green, the National Museum, Dehiwala Zoo and Hindu temples are major attractions. Indulge a little and shop for their famous Sri Lankan tea, cotton clothes, batik and handicrafts.

Day 2: Colombo – Sigiriya via Pinnawela Excursions
Post breakfast drive to Sigiriya. Enroute stop over at at Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage to see some 80 plus elephants feeding & bathing and naughty baby elephants playing around. After the visit, head towards the ancient city of Sigiriya (a UNESCO World Heritage site).

Day 3: Minneriya National Park & Polonnaruwa
Visit the Minneriya National Park to spot animals like the Purple-faced Langur, Toque Macaque, Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer, Leopard and Sloth Bear. It is also a feeding ground for the elephants. Post lunch, head towards Polonnaruwa (a UNESCO World Heritage site) one of the best planned archeological relic sites in the country. Drive back to Sigiriya for overnight stay.

Day 4:Drive to Kandy visiting Sigiriya Rocks and Dambula Caves
On the way to Kandy, visit Sigiriya Rocks to see the hardened magma plug of an extinct volcano that eroded many years ago and Dambulla Cave Temple, the most impressive cave temple in Asia. After visiting these two UNESCO heritage sights, we drive towards Kandy, a beautiful hill station and one of the most scenic cities in Sri Lanka.

Day 5: Kandy – Nuwara Elliya
Visit the famous Tooth Relic Temple and post lunch, drive towards Nuwara Eliya with beautiful sights of paddy fields and seamless tea plantations en route.The town of Nuwara Eliya, has a picturesque landscape and is known as ‘Little England’. It is covered with terraces growing potatoes, carrots, leeks, and roses, interspersed with tea bushes on the steeper slopes and also produces the world's finest Orange Pekoe tea.

Day 6: Excursion to Harton Plains National Park
Enjoy a leisurely 3 hrs hike in the Horton Plains National Park- a beautiful and peaceful location for nature lovers.

Day 7: Drive to Beruwala Beach
Bentota & Beruwela have some of the best beaches in Sri Lanka and you can get a chance to enjoy some water sports as well!

Day 8: Spend the day at Beruwala & Bentota Beach
Spend the day at the tranquil golden sand beaches of Beruwala/Bentota, soaking the sun and indulging in mild beach activities.

Day 9: Drive to Colombo International Airport. Final Departure
Morning drive to Colombo airport and final departure.
